Unholy One - Belgian IPA

In The Beginning There Was The Wort

Unholy One

Soon after obtaining consciousness and our necessary expulsion from Garden Eden, time was invented and immediately started to fly. Mankind created its own gardens surrounded by strong monastery walls and locked consciousness away - again.

The people outside these walls needed to be educated like children to attain purity and live a life in devotion.  The ones inside the walls, custodians of ethics, moral, wisdom, and defenders of all human beings from demonic temptations were pure knights in the shining armour of the faith...

Well, so much to the theory…. Because they also grew barley and hops.

Many hops. A lot of hops.

This Belgian IPA is how they may have loved it.

Belgian IPA

The examples from Belgium tend to be lighter in color and more attenuated, similar to a tripel that has been brewed with more hops.
